At Veterans Place, our goal is to provide homeless Veterans with an array of facilities and services that build long-term residential stability, employment, sobriety and self-determination.  Through our own services and those delivered through a variety of community partnerships, we strive to be a full-service agency for all homeless Veterans.

Service Center

In addition to housing our administrative offices, our Service Center offers a wide variety of services to homeless Veterans. Our Homeless Veterans Day Program, operating Monday-Friday from 8:00am-3:00pm, provides homeless Veterans with a variety of resources and assists them to begin addressing the issues causing their homelessness and rebuild their lives.

The secondary goal of our Service Center is to provide a gateway to other services provided by Veterans Place, the Veterans Administration and other community organizations. These services can include (but are not limited to):

  • Housing
  • Employment Services
  • Detox/Rehab
  • Mental Health Services

Transitional Housing

Our oldest program, Transitional Housing, offers 48 Veterans a place to call home at our Washington Boulevard facility.  Open to both male and female Veterans, we strive to assist our residents in breaking the cycle of homelessness and returning to healthy, productive lives in the community.
